Inauguración del Café Venezuela

En julio tuve la suerte de pasar frente a la inauguración del Café Venezuela en la esquina de Gradillas. Venía de tomar unas fotos en la zona y me paré porque la música en vivo sonaba muy bien. El cantante se presentó como José Alejandro Delgado.

Este fin de semana pasando canales vi a José Alejandro invitando a la presentación de su nuevo disco, que será este viernes 15 en el CELARG. Vale la pena ir para escucharlo en vivo, esa la mejor forma de apreciar el trabajo de los buenos músicos.

El video que acompaña a esta nota lo grabé ese día, la canción se llama Traigo Rosas. Hay más videos en YouTube y música en su sitio web.

Biolab Disaster

A nintendo-styled game built using HTML5. Works great on Opera, not so good on Firefox nor Chrome, and as for Internet Explorer don't even bother firing it up for this.

Biolab Disaster formulates the playable truth that it makes sense to create games for HTML5. Not only is the result on par with current Flash games, but also is the development process incredibly smooth and satisfying. The hurdles that a new technology such as HTML5 sets, were already overcome by the game engine. For the development of the game itself, I didn’t have to deal with any browser or platform issues at all.
